About Us
I trained in drama and dance at Bretton Hall, Yorkshire and then went on to teach drama at a comprehensive school at St Neots, Cambridgeshire for four years.  Ernulf School had two fully equipped drama studios with sound and lighting and gave me a great foundation in the practise of educational drama.  My teaching was totally influenced by the ethos of Bretton Hall where the emphasis was on child-centred education which strived to give children as full experience of learning through the creative arts, as possible.  Many trained teachers came out of Bretton and went on to become major influencers in education, the media and theatre.
I then went on to work as an actress, devising and performing plays with a Theatre-in-Education team at the Theatre Royal, York.  York is my favourite city and my time there was a fantastic experience; travelling around local schools and performing with a resident team.  After this I joined a touring Christian Theatre Company for a short while before marrying and starting a family.  Since then I have regularly run drama workshops and performed with small groups and over the past 8 years have worked in local Oxford schools, Montessori Nurseries and now regularly direct at the Pegasus Theatre, Magdalen Road, Oxford.
My passionate belief is that drama can educate, inspire and develop confidence in young people within a fun and stimulating environment.

I have an up to date CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) certificate and insurance for Public Liability.  Please ask if you wish to see these certificates.
