Drama Workshops

Workshops are available for any groups and for any duration of time. Marion will devise and lead workshops to develop skills and encourage others in the use of drama. Possible workshops:
□ One Day Workshop: exploring text through improvisation & role play
□ Children’s Workshops: Play-in-a-Day or improvisational skills
□ Workshops to explore biblical themes and current issues
□ Social Skills. Marion has worked in the Mental Health Sector developing social skills through teaching and improvisation with participants.

Story Reading
 Marion has gained the experience of storytelling in local Oxfordshire libraries and schools. Her repertoire includes World Stories and some old time favourites. Her work has mainly involved stories for children but is willing to ‘tailor’ stories to any age.
  
In Service Training
. Marion is available for teachers in schools and churches to demonstrate and teach drama skills which will enhance creativity and communication skills both for the teachers and pupils. Learn more about the use of role play, improvisation, mime and story-making. Drama can be a fantastic tool to enable children and adults to learn in an active and fun way

Role Play

Looking for an actress to act out roles for your training programme? Or do you need someone to lead a role play exercise with your team or group?
 
Social, interpersonal and communication skills can all be explored through the means of role play. In a non-threatening environment Marion can offer a series of workshops using role-play to help improve all of these important skills. Businesses and any work place can become a difficult place. Why not take some time out to reflect and learn in order to become more effective in the way you communicate?
 
Public Speaking
Visit a few weddings and it quickly becomes apparent that many of us simply do not have the right experience to deliver the speech we wanted to give!  Whether it is the use of voice, how to stand, how to work with a microphone, how to shape your ideas into a speech, Marion can help you.
